Hex Nuts
A six-sided internally threaded fastener whose thickness is .875 D where D is the nominal nut size and 1.5D is their width across the flats. Starts at ¼-20.
Machine Screw Nuts
A six-sided internally threaded fastener with flat tops and chamfered corners. Threads shall be Unified Standard, Class 2B. Designed to be used specifically with machine screws.
Self-Clinch Nuts
A round internally threaded one piece fastener with a shank protruding from the internal circumference and a knurled clinching ring surrounding the shank. Both the shank and the clinching ring are integrally formed into the bottom side of the nut. Designed for use in sheet metal when load bearing threads are necessary.
